Nightvision monocular Photonis DEP
This device with image intesifier tube Gen.2+ Prestige AG has resolution min. 64 lp/mm, S/N Ratio min. 20, photocathode sensitivity min. 700 µA/lum and gain between 35 000x-50 000x. Lifetime is minimal 10 000+ hours. IIT is Autogated.
There is vast variety of Night Vision Monoculars kits available in the World Marketplace. The most popular are PVS-14, MUM-14 as well as couple of other leading brands. While having 20+ years “first hand” experience working with all of them and building our own systems, GSCI developed the very best “OEM Ready” night vision subassemblies. Our 2012’ LVLBS - 14 kits gathered the most up to date technological advancements, currently developed. Whatever is missing in other systems/brands, you can find in LVLBS - 14 kits...and some more. While one side of monocular comes with “dove tail” bracket, commonly used in MUM-14 type systems (2), another side allows to connect PVS-14 type “J”-arm with magnetic switch (1, 5). Additionally, on the both sides of the monocular body located 1/4-20 tripod threads (1, 2) which allow to attach various optional accessories. In order to attach monocular to the head gear or helmet mount can be used either basic “J”-arm adapter-interface (4) or GSCI proprietary, rugged, aluminum HUB-14 adapter (3). Monocular can be used with various “PVS-7/14” type head gears or helmet mounts (6, 7). LVLBS - 14 body designed to accept vast variety of commonly available Image Intensifier Tubes (IIT) in “small anvis”, inverted configurations. Can be used as well manual gain control IIT (third wire). *Note to OEM: If you intend to use such tubes, please advise us prior ordering and we’ll install potentiometer which will allow to conduct manual gain adjustment (5).
LVLBS - 14 kit features, proprietary electronic solution UBX™. Its digital technology offers longer battery life, built-in field of view (FOV) low battery and Infrared Illuminator “ON” unique “flashing” LED indicators. UBX™ performs reliable start up current for “sleepy” Image Intensifier Tubes (IIT). UBX™ eliminates probability of incorrectly installed polarity of the battery, device works with either way installed AA or CR123 types of batteries (9). UBX™ provides reliable controls of built-in short range IR illuminator (905 nm), light overload sensor and “flip-up” OFF magnetic switch (special “J”-arm and head gear or helmet mount required.) During tube installation specially designed cushion and springs contacts guaranty solid, uninterrupted connection between IIT and electronic board. LVLBS - 14 built in accordance to GSCI proprietary LDH™ Concept (Light Durable Housing), has strong, durable, light weight body and smallest in Industry physical dimensions. Besides unlimited “hand held” applications, the LVLBS - 14 can be used as “quick attach” weapon mountable Night Vision Systems (8). LVLBS - 14 accepts various Mil. Spec. afocal lenses such as 3X magnification(10, 12) and 5X magnification(11, 13). That lenses can be attached to the existing 1X lens by two methods: Snap-On (10, 11) or Screw-In (12, 13). Additionally to that mechanical design and the front lens mounting thread allows to use magnification lenses from other Manufacturers with magnifications 4X, 7X, 10X.
