Raptor pistols have flat top slides with a back-cut row of scales, along with scaled serrations in the gripping areas. Scaled frontstraps and logo grip panels continue the theme (pat. pending) but each Raptor has unique features that set it apart from the others. The Ultra Raptor II™ is an all-matte black carry pistol with a 3-inch ramped bushingless bull barrel and lightweight aluminum frame. The Pro Raptor II is also matte black, but has a 4-inch barrel and full-length steel frame. The Raptor II has a 5-inch barrel, polished flats and matte curves. The Grand Raptor II is also a full-size pistol, and the polished flats of its stainless steel frame and matte slide make it stand out. All Raptor pistols have an extended ambidextrous thumb safety, bumped beavertail grip safety and night sights.

The Gold Combat II and Gold Combat Stainless II are full-size carry and home defense pistols that leave nothing to chance. Standard features include extended ambidextrous thumb safety, 30 lines-per-inch checkering on frontstrap and under trigger guard, stainless steel match grade barrel and barrel bushing, hand-checkered double diamond rosewood grips and match grade Premium Aluminum Trigger tuned to 3.5-4 pounds.

The Gold Combat RL II .45 ACP has all the features of the Gold Combat II, along with the Kimber Tactical Rail™ for accessory mounting. Both pistols wear the KimPro II™ finish, the toughest thermally-cured finish available. KimPro II is a high tech blend of boron, PFTE, nano silicates, molybdenum disulfide and other lubricants. It is both durable and highly resistant to salt, sweat, UV and solvents. Uniform coverage is assured by an automated application system. The Custom Shop can refinish most Kimber 1911 pistols in KimPro II.

The Super Match II .45 ACP is Kimber's finest all-around pistol. Equally suited for action shooting or accuracy competition, many of them are carried for personal protection. Each Super Match II is guaranteed to have fired a five shot, 25-yard group measuring one inch or less center-to-center.

Every Kimber 1911 pistol is made in a state-of-the-art American factory from the finest raw materials and with manufacturing tolerances up to three times as tight as the competition. Over 200 inspections are performed during the manufacturing process by both people and specialized machines. When completed, every pistol must pass a comprehensive safety inspection that includes test firing to ensure all quality standards have been met. Kimber 1911 barrels are carefully machined with match grade dimensions to ensure accuracy, and they are also one piece for superior strength. Barrel bushings on centerfires are also match grade, and all are machined from stainless steel blanks.

Chambers are cut to exacting match grade dimensions and then carefully finished for flawless feeding and extraction. Ejection ports are lowered and flared so ejecting brass clears easily. Everything is done inside the Kimber factory.

Kimber pistols have factory tuned match grade trigger groups that break crisp and clean. Slide and magazine releases are slightly extended for quick location and easy operation. Frame has a high kidney cut for best grip position.
